The time has come for a bold decision to be taken by the bold in order to wrestle power both at the constituency and the national level from the inept NPP government.
A history was made today Thursday the 11th July, 2019 when comrade Makai Abraham took the bold strides to pick a form to contest for the vacant seat in the Krachi East Constituency.
BRIEF PROFILE:
He was born and bread in Dambai. He schooled in Dambai to the secondary school level after which, he had to leave the shores of town to seek greener pastures in Accra. He attained his First Degree in Business Administration(HR)option.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
√Ex- military officer (RSM) Military Police
√Command Sargent Major 37 Military Hospital(rtd)
√Information Analyst and Security Officer
√NGO- International Justice Mission in human trafficking.
Above all, he's a giant in human right advocacy.
WHY THE CONTEST:
Comrade Makai Abraham's resolve to enter into this contest came as a result of his long standing in the NDC party from it's inception in 1992.
Comrade Abraham showed his membership of GOOD STANDING since 2016 when he donated a cash of ghc2000 , one motor bicycle and 150 pieces of plastic chairs to the party for election 2016. As if that was all, comrade Makai Abraham made his private car available for the Konkomba Team and was personally involved in traversing the length and breadth of the constituency in canvassing votes for the party. In addition, he also organised a mammoth rally on old town park which saw the attendance of prominent party stalwarts like; Hon. Wisdom Gidisu, then PC, Hon. Peter Yaw Awuranyi,then DCE, Hon. Kuyorn Solomon, then DCE for Nchumuru, Hon. Kudor Moses, then DCE for Nkwanta North.
He also marshalled a host of former colleague ex- soldiers into the constituency to ensure a stress - free campaign then.
Moreover, Comrade Makai Abraham has been very instrumental in the day-to-day party activities in the constituency. He contributed an amount of ghc4000 towards the recently held constituency elections at Asukawkaw, ghc1000 towards the Branch election, ghc1000 towards the Presidential primaries, ghc1000 towards the just ended EC limited registration exercise. He has equally been benevolent to countless party members in the constituency since.
